Located in a gorgeous brick building in Automobile Alley, Coffee Slingers turns ordinary coffee into something special. Yup, you might wait a few extra minutes here for your pour-over, but with high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and WiFi that never seems to slow down no matter how packed it gets, this is a coffee spot worthy of your next deadline crunch.
Tip: Their house-made chai latte, showered in fresh cinnamon.
- Clarity Coffee Clarity immediately feels special. It’s a grown-up coffee shop with spot-on service and well-executed drinks that are less typical of places that cater to the grab-and-go crowd. We’re talking about meticulously crafted espresso, one of the best cold brews on the planet, seasonal specialty drinks that change regularly, and pastries that are so flaky you’ll want them as a side to every coffee order.
Tip: The WiFi password is clearly posted, and they don’t give you the stink-eye if you camp out for a few hours.
- Vintage Coffee This little gem takes the same concept as other coffee shops—good drinks that will make you happier that you’re not at home—and gives it a cozy twist, like a “secret” back room perfect for meetings and comfy couches that’ll make you wanna stay all day.

- Prelude Coffee Roasters Prelude is a lovely spot for a potent espresso, fresh-baked cookies, or a lazy afternoon of work in the sleek minimalist space or the charming outdoor patio with its string lights. Yes, they’re serious about coffee here, but Prelude is amenable to customizing drinks for both vegans and those who prefer their lattes extra sweet.
Tip: Their WiFi is rock-solid and they have plenty of outlets along the walls—just get there early to snag the prime spots.
- Classen Coffee Co. This local favorite has changed the way OKC works remotely, one perfectly crafted latte at a time. Classen’s menu is expansive, offering plant-based milk options as well as traditional dairy and a rotating selection of local pastries. For something sweet, look no further than their homemade pop tarts—they’re one of the best treats in the city, even if “artisanal” ain’t part of your usual vocabulary.
